Epidemiologist

Field of Expertise: Environmental epidemiology

Ran Rotem is an epidemiologist and the head of the Environmental Health Research Unit at the Maccabi Institute of Research and Innovation.

There he is working to leverage Maccabi’s vast clinical data for cross-disciplinary environmental health research collaborations with Israeli academic institutions, Harvard University, and other international institutions.

Ran is currently finishing his doctorate degree (expected 2018) at the Harvard School of Public Health, researching the role of environmental risk factors in neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders.

He completed his MSc at the Harvard School of Public Health and his BSc at the University of Toronto, both in the fields of Environmental Exposure and Risk Assessment.
